Alexander Kucera — our head of VFX — has been asked to help out managing the post production of the motion picture “Prisoners of the sun”, a sandy effects spectacle that screams for visual effects. Alexander Kucera will be the VFX Producer of this show, leading a great team of skilled artists for the next few months.

The effects for this show range from matte paintings over 3D set extensions to 3D particle simulations. It is going to be a lot of fun.

We will be needing a few more Nuke compositors and Maya artists. The main VFX work will be rotoscoping, matte paintings and FX animation. So if you have some skills in those areas, please let us know via the contact form.

Alexander Kucera will be leaving his VFX Supervisor position at Fridthjof Film to work as VFX Producer for the German effects spectacle “Prisoners of the Sun” in Ludwigsburg.

We are sad to leave our friends in Copenhagen after two fun years of working together. We will be doing the occasional project together as Alexander Kucera is offering his knowledge as VFX Advisor to the Danish company.
